Mini Reset Menu

Two phone mockups are shown. The first asks "How are you feeling right now?" and displays the options "Angry," "Guilty," and "Overwhelmed." The second phone screen asks "How much time do you have?" and gives the options "1 minute," "5 minutes," or "15 minutes."

Motherhood can be messy. You love your kids, but find yourself feeling angry and overwhelmed. And then the guilt hits. You don't have time for a candlelit bubble bath to deal with your feelings. You need something you can reach for when you're hiding in the bathroom for five minutes to try to keep it together.

That's what the Mini Reset Menu is designed for. It's a free toolkit to help you with the three hardest mom feelings: anger, guilt, and overwhelm.

What you'll get

An interactive web app (works on any device)

A phone mockup displaying a 5 minute reset for when you're feeling guilty called "the friend test."

Choose how you're feeling, pick how much time you have (1 minute, 5 minutes, or 15 minutes), and the app will give you a reset to try. There are two resets for each emotion and time, so if the first one doesn't land, you can try the other.

Bonus: A printable PDF

This shows the cover page of the PDF as well as three resets for when you are feeling angry. The cover page has a purple background and hand-drawn motifs of mugs, clocks, hearts and stars. The three resets for angry involve naming the emotion, taking deep breaths, pushing on a wall, dancing, and doing a workout and identifying what your anger is telling you.

This contains all 18 resets from the web app in PDF form. Print it out and keep it handy for when reaching for your phone feels like too much.

A reset isn't a magic fix. But it can help you find your footing again when a feeling knocks you off balance.
